Polishing silver
The everyday silver you’re used to usually consists of silver itself and a small amount of copper and other metals. Over time, once exposed to air, the other metals start to react with the air and the surface starts to tarnish. Using tough detergents and soap on such surfaces speeds up the tarnishing process. WD-40 is an easy fix for the problem. Just spray down the silver surface and wipe it down. Once you’re done, it should look as good as new.
